In The Wake of the Week - Nov 01

Halloween- Unfortunately, Halloween isn't a holiday that I go out and celebrate. However, I do enjoy giving out choco's (and yes even to the older people who trick or treat). I was thinking that I should tax the people next year. I mean, there's a tariff for everything in life.... Next year, for every 10 pieces of candy, I want 2 candies back.

Every year for Halloween, I dress up as a nerd (ie myself) and it fares well. This year, I have to say the most creative and simple outfit was a girl who dressed up as an Orbitz (gum) girl. She really "fit" the outfit very well. To the Orbitz girl who's reading, "Potty Mouth?"

Elections- This Tuesday is big day for Senators McCain and Hussein Obama. My vote is for Hussein. I agreed with General Colin Powell (GOP), who recently endorsed Hussein Obama.
"McCain hasn't showed any initiatives for the Republican party. Plus, I don't think Palin is ready to be President." My words exactly.

As for the Propositions, YES on 8 and no to everything else.

Phillies- Congrats to the Philadelphia Phillies as World Series Champions. Cole Hamel the MVP pitched amazingly. Not bad for a San Diego kid. I see big $$$$$ for the next Steve Carlton during contract negotiations.

If I didn't have my health issues, I'd be ordering up some poutine.
